6:8 for Android · Beta

Try 6:8 on Android

The Android app is in early access. Enter your code to download it while it waits for Google Play.

Version 1.5.14 · 320 MB · updated 15 October 2026

Step 1
Open this page in Chrome
Links opened inside other apps, such as Instagram or a chat app, often can’t download files.
Step 2
Enter your code, then Download
Chrome warns about apps from outside Google Play. Tap Download anyway.
Step 3
Open the file and tap Install
Android asks once to allow installs from Chrome. Turn it on, then go back.
Step 4
Get past Play Protect
It may say it doesn’t recognise the developer. Tap More details, then Install anyway. If it offers to scan the app, that’s fine too.

Before you install

Play Protect warns because 6:8 isn’t on Google Play yet, so Google hasn’t seen the app before. The warning goes away once it is.
Everything is open in the beta. There’s nothing to buy.
Your Guardian is limited in the beta: sign in for three conversations a month. Voice calls aren’t included.
To update, download the new version and install it over the old one. Your progress stays.
Your private journal lives only on this phone. Uninstalling the app erases it.
It’s a beta, so some things may break. Tell us on the support page and we’ll fix them.
