Install it

Step 1
Download and open the installer
It installs for you only, so it doesn’t ask for an administrator password.
Step 2
Get past SmartScreen
Windows may say it protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Step 3
Sign in
Use the same 6:8 account as your phone: Google, Apple or an email code.

Today
Your intention, your streak and three things to do, in one view. It shares your account and gems with the phone app.
Journal
The same morning and evening questions as the phone app, one at a time.
Guardian
Choose who it is and how it speaks. Type, or talk hands-free and it answers out loud.
Glance
Press Ctrl+Alt+Space and ask about anything on your screen. Hold the keys to circle exactly what you mean.
AM and PM Intention
Set one intention in the morning and keep or release it at night. Pause them for a day, a week or longer.
Guard
Block the apps and sites that pull you away, or switch on a whole category in one tap.

Your screen. The Guardian looks at your screen only when you press the shortcut. Nothing is recorded in the background.
Microphone. Only while you talk to the Guardian. Speech is turned into text by Windows, and audio is never kept.
Your browser’s address bar. Only to close a site you asked it to block. Nothing about the sites you visit is saved.

A screenshot and the text near your cursor are sent only when you ask, to the 6:8 server and an SI (AI) provider. They aren’t stored or used for training.
Journal text is sent when you ask the Guardian to reply to it.
Your conversations are sealed on this PC. Your check-ins, journal and blocks stay on it too.

It’s a beta. If something doesn’t work, tell us on the support page and we’ll fix it.
SmartScreen warns because the installer isn’t signed yet. The warning goes away once it is.
A few Glances are free each day. After that each one takes 1 gem. Gems are bought on the web.
The Guardian is an SI (AI), not a therapist. In a crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number.
